ReturnsA Target liquidation truckload is a full trailer of merchandise leaving the Target network — customer returns, distribution-centre case packs and overstock. Target skews towards home, seasonal, apparel and health-and-beauty, and the general merchandise loads reflect that.
Compared with a straight returns load, Target case-pack and overstock programs tend to arrive in more consistent condition, because the goods never reached a customer.
Each load above lists pallet count, condition and the state it ships from. Our Target loads currently move out of the Midwest, the Northeast, North Carolina, Indiana and Texas, so there is usually a lane that works from somewhere near you.
Returns are cheaper per pallet and more variable. Overstock and case-pack cost more and behave more predictably. If you are selling into a bin store where everything is priced the same on a given day, variability matters less and returns usually win. If you are listing item by item online, the more predictable grades are generally worth the premium.
Bin stores, discount retailers, online resellers and market traders. Target’s brand recognition also makes these loads easier to sell live — the name does some of the work for you on a stream.
Use our liquidation profit calculators to test cost per unit and break-even against your actual selling fees, then get a freight quote so you are working from a landed cost. Our guide to reading a liquidation manifest is worth ten minutes before your first load.
