What is a Home Depot liquidation truckload?

A Home Depot liquidation truckload is a full trailer of merchandise leaving the Home Depot network — customer returns and overstock that is no longer going back on the shelf. Home improvement retail produces a different mix from a general merchandise store: fewer small impulse items, more tools, hardware, fixtures and seasonal goods, and a higher average ticket per item.

That higher ticket cuts both ways. Recovery per item can be strong, but a single damaged big-ticket piece costs more than a whole pallet of smalls.

The Home Depot loads we run

  • Standard truckloads — mixed home improvement returns and overstock.
  • Turbo truckloads — a faster-moving program; ask us what is currently in rotation.
  • Turbo smalls — smaller-format items, which means more units per pallet and easier handling.

Home Depot inventory moves quickly and the programs above are what is genuinely available right now rather than a permanent catalogue. If nothing here fits, tell us what you are after and we will let you know when it lands.

What to expect on a home improvement load

Expect tools, hardware, fixtures, storage, seasonal and outdoor goods, with the mix shifting through the year. Expect some items to need testing before you sell them, particularly anything powered. And expect bulk — home improvement goods are heavier and less dense than apparel or smalls, which affects both your freight cost and your storage.

Who buys Home Depot loads

Discount hardware and tool retailers, builders and trade buyers, bin stores wanting a higher-ticket category to sit alongside general merchandise, and online resellers who know how to test and grade tools.

Working out your numbers

On heavier categories freight is a bigger share of landed cost than most buyers expect, so get a freight quote before you compare loads on price. Then run cost per unit and break-even through our profit calculators.

Home Depot liquidation FAQ

Are you affiliated with Home Depot? +
No. We are an independent liquidation wholesaler. The merchandise comes out of the Home Depot retail network, but we are not affiliated with or endorsed by Home Depot.
Will the tools work? +
Some will, some will not — that is what a returns load is. We do not test or pick through pallets before they ship, and our photos show the load as it reached us. Anyone selling home improvement returns should build testing time into their costs.
What is the difference between turbo and standard loads? +
They are different Home Depot programs with different sorting and mixes. Ask us about the specific load on this page and we will tell you what we know about it before you commit.
Why are there only a few Home Depot loads listed? +
Because we list what we actually have rather than a permanent menu. Home Depot availability moves week to week. Tell us what you are looking for and we will contact you when a matching load arrives.
How do I buy? +
Open a buyer account, tell us which load you want, and we will confirm availability and freight before anything is committed. See the FAQ page for payment and lead times.
